artEquity is a Black-led organization providing intentional support for artists and arts leaders of color. Research tells us that Black-led organizations receive an average of 300% less funding than their white-led counterparts.*
At the same time we, like many organizations of color, are being called to respond to the current moment. Facing widespread pushback to the values of equity and justice, and in an atmosphere of increasing racial hostility, we are not backing down. In fact, we are doubling down on support for the communities we serve.
