John Rooney is a facilitator and cultural change maker in Chicago, IL. They are driven to create enriching, equitable, and healing spaces for staff of nonprofits and public service organizations who are providing vital community services and offerings. They are currently the Associate Director of People and Culture at Chicago Humanities and has spent over 15 years as a facilitator, project manager, educator, and artist for organizations such as artEquity, FARSIGHT Agency, Nicole Brewer’s Anti-Racist Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, and Actors Theatre of Louisville. They hold a Masters in Public Service Management from DePaul University.
